미국은 한.미 FTA는 불합리한 협상이 아님을 알아야
한미 FTA는 정상적으로 잘 된 협상이지만 한국의 기술 변화의 속도에 비교하여 미국의 기술 변화의 속도가 느려서 잘못된 협상으로 인정되는 것으로 보여집니다.
한 예로 FTA를 통해 우리나라는 미국무기 수입을 세계에서 제일 많이 하고 농축산물 수입을 확대 하였습니다
반면 우리나라의 미국 수출은 자동차 철강등 공산물을 늘렸습니다.
FTA합의 후 우리나라는 수출과 수입 모든 품목에 기술개발의 속도를 냈습니다.
그결과 우리나라는 미국 소고기 보다 더 맛있고 위생적인 한우가 만들어 졌고 기타 농산물도 한국 것이 미국 수입물 보다 월등하게 품질이 좋아졌습니다.
이렇게 되니 미국 농산물 수입이 줄어 들 수 밖에 없었던 것 같습니다.
동시에 우리나라 자동차의 생산 품질 기술이 좋아졌고 철강도 특수강등의 개발로 미국 기술 보다 좋아지며 수출의 가속도를 냈습니다.
이러한 현상에서 FTA협상을 다시해도 또 같은 결과가 나타날 것입니다.
하지만 미국에 무기의 기술이 좋아지며 세계 최대 규모로 우리나라가 무기 수입을 하기 때문에 계산해 보면 우리나라와 미국의 FTA는 재협상 할 것이 없는 합리적인 협상이라고 생각됩니다.

However, as weapons technology improves in the United States and Korea is the world& #39;s largest source of arms imports, Korea and the US FTA are reasonable negotiations that do not require renegotiation.
